Description:
The CCNA certification holders have a foundation in and working
knowledge of networking, including skills to install,
configure, and operate LAN, WAN, and dial access services for small
networks (100 nodes or fewer), including but not limited to use of these
protocols: IP, IGRP, Serial, Frame Relay, IP RIP, VLANs, RIP, Ethernet,
Access Lists.
The CCNA course will prepare you to take exam for the CCNA certification. The CCNA(640-801) provides materials on:
- Interconnection Cisco Network Devices (ICND)
- Introduction to Cisco Networking Technologies
(INTRO)
- Extending Switched Networks with VLANS,
- IP Routes, Managing IP traffic with Access Lists,
- Establishing Point-to-Point connections,
- Establishing Frame Relay Connections,
- Cisco IOS router for network connectivity,
- Cisco Catalyst switches and Cisco routers connected in
local-area networks (LANs) and wide-area networks (WANs,)
- Open Systems Interconnect (OSI) seven-layer model concepts.
Audience:
The class is recommended to individuals seeking an
understanding and knowledge of networking fundamentals. At the end of the course you will be able to select, connect, configure, and troubleshoot the various Cisco networking devices.
