Description:
The Java programming language is the best solution for integrating mainframe/legacy systems with the internet applications. It is recommended that you also obtain working knowledge of the syntax and application programming interface (API) structures and object-oriented (OO) concepts.

Prerequisites:

  • Working experience in a structured programming language, such as COBOL, ANSI C;; FORTRAN, ALGOL, PL1, or CPL.
  • Have experience designing software applications


    • Audience:
    Experienced mainframe application developers with background in structured programming language, such as COBOL.

    Duration: 5 days.

    Course Outline:
  • Object-oriented concepts of abstraction, polymorphism, inheritance, and encapsulation.
  • Class construction with object-oriented concepts.
