Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician (MCDST) Certification

Description:
The MCDST certification attests the skills of help desk technician, customer support representative, and PC support specialist working in the typically complex computing environment of small, medium, or large organizations.


Audience:
This course provided fundamentals to beginners and career changers to the IT industry. Some experience using Microsoft Office and basic Microsoft Windows navigation skills are required.

Duration: 5 days.

Course Outline:
• Installation of the Windows operating system.
• Configuration of the OS.
• Troubleshooting.
• Monitor and analyze system performance.
• Files and folders management.
• Local and network print devices management.
• Configure and troubleshoot hardware, storage, displays, protocols devices and drivers.
• Configure and troubleshoot Advanced Configuration and Power Interface (ACPI) and (I/O).
• Troubleshoot security settings and local security policy, local user and group accounts.
• Troubleshoot the TCP/IP protocol and Internet Connection Firewall (ICF) settings.
